Light micrograph of a freshwater amoeba with unknown identity. The interior of the cell is filled with numerous paramylon grains originating from Euglena algae cells. The site of discovery was a muddy, small pond with numerous Rhodobacteria and various Euglena species. Microscopic contrast method : Differential interference contrast.
