Illustration of a spinosaurus dinosaur, that lived 99 to 93 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous period in North Africa. Spinosaurus dinosaurs were arguably the largest meat-eating dinosaurs and could measure up to 18 metres in length. They had elongated spinal bones that formed a distinct sail.
