Artist painting a replica of the 'Red Dots Panel' found in Chauvet Cave, France. The 'Red Dots Panel' is believed to represent a mammoth and is an early example of pointillism. The replica panel is being reproduced for the Caverne du Pont d'Arc, a replica of the Chauvet Cave, Ardeche, France. This cave contains some of the best-preserved Palaeolithic (stone age) figurative cave paintings in the world. These paintings are thought to be around 36,000 years old.
