Off The Skagerrak, 1884. Whitworth Wallis was the first director of Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. The Skagerrak is a strait between Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, connecting the North Sea and the Kattegat sea area, which leads to the Baltic Sea.
