Light micrograph of nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma (NLPHL). NLPHL is a rare, germinal centre-derived, B-cell lymphoma that is biologically distinct from classic Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL). The two entities differ in their clinical presentation, epidemiology, morphology, immunophenotype, and molecular genetics. This image shows serpiginous nodular architectural pattern (Pattern B). It consists of interconnected aggregates of reactive B lymphocytes along with scattered neoplastic lymphocyte-predominant (LP) cells. A few normal reactive follicles sharply demarcated from the tumour tissue are also seen.
