On the way below the Pointe du Hoc in the morning at low tide. When the tide is high during the ebb phase, the view of the sea floor and its variety of algae off the coast becomes visible. Then the locals go to Peche a Pied - fishing on foot to catch / collect crabs, crayfish, oysters, mussels, etc.
