Tooth decay that caused pulpopathy. Pulpopathy follows a cavity that has passed through the enamel, dentin and reached the pulp. If left untreated, it causes inflammation of the dental pulp made up of the vascular-nervous package present in the central area of the tooth. There are two types of pulpopathies, acute pulpitis, reversible when treated and chronic pulpitis which, if left untreated, results in dental necrosis.
