Fragment of a votive relief of a naked hoplite with helmet and shield jumping onto a chariot led by a charioteer. Found at Oropos, East Attica, Greece, in the sanctuary of Amphiaraos, and made from Pentelic marble, c. 5th century BC. The epistyle, or architrave, preserves part of the dedicatory inscription. The relief probably formed the facing of the base of a dedication by a victor of the Apobates race.
