Calcite belemnite fossils, the calcite internal structures of prehistoric squid like species. These have been shattered by a meteorite impact, 14.5 million years ago, they were already over 100 million years old at this point. After the meteorite imact silicates from the surrounding rocks leached into the fossils re-fusing the shattered structure.
