An engraving depicting the Bessbrook Mills and village. Developed in the mid-nineteenth century by a Quaker, John Grubb Richardson, the complex included a Meeting House, chapels, churches, dispensary, school, but no public house. Worker's cottages are visible in the background. Known as the Irish Saltaire. Dated 19th century.
