Ireland; Co. Kerry; city of Tralee: Blennerville Windmill Visitor Centre with parts of Blennerville Windmill; built 1800. Blennerville windmill was built in the year 1800 by Sir Rowland Blennerhassett whom the village of Blennerville is named after. It was used for grinding corn for the local farmers and for export to Britain. 21;3 m high; it is the tallest tower windmill in Europe. After 1880; the windmill fell into ruins. The windmill was restored 1984 to 1990 and re-opend as a museum to the public.
