"Veroni" is an ancient local Tuscan name for flat river terraces at river Arno. The sight of winery I Veroni was - even in medieval times - a highly frequented market place. Oldest parts of the winery date back to 1809. The winery produces organic wines of the Chianti Rufina area and produces organic olive oil (Olio di Oliva extra vergine). It also is famous for its collection of very old Vin Santo wines.
