'The Queen Visiting South Stack Lighthouse, Holyhead, On Her Majesty's Return from Ireland', 1853, (1861). Queen Victoria (1819-1901) and her family visited the South Stack Lighthouse in September 1853. The lighthouse, built in 1809, stands on the summit of a small island off the north-west coast of Holy Island, Anglesey, Wales.
