Estonia; city of Tallinn; KUMU (Art Museum; Estonian: Kunstmuuseum); Europe`s museum of year 2008: view from staircase in roofed atrium into outside Kadriorg Park. KUMU art museum was built for 50 Mio. Euro; and opened; in 2006. Architect was Pekka Vapaavuori. It has seven floors and is exclusively dedicated to Estonian art. In this way; it completes the Estonian Art Museum for foreign art in Kadriorg Palace; which is just 200 m away. In KUMU; third floor is dedictaed to Estonain art from 18th century to 1945. Fourth floor shows Estonian art in Soviet times; from 1945 to 1991. The upper most floor is dedicated to modern Estonain Art.
