Apollo 11 insurance cover, signed by the astronauts before the flight. The astronauts were unable to get sufficient life insurance and so signed these covers, which would have been sold in the event of the astronauts' deaths. Apollo 11 was the first manned mission to the Moon. On 20th July NASA astronauts Neil Armstrong and then Edwin (Buzz) Aldrin became the first men to walk on the Moon. The Apollo 11 crew, which also included Michael Collins returned safely to Earth on 24th July 1969.
