Skeleton shrimp (Caprella septentrionalis) waiting to catch its prey. Skeleton shrimp mimic the colour and shape of the fronds of seaweed, hydroids and bryozoans amongst which they live. They use this camouflage to help ambush their prey, remaining motionless for long periods of time. Photographed in the Russian Arctic, in the White Sea.
