Postcard 1900.Victorian/Edwardian.Social History.The firm of Misch & Stock began their postcard production in 1903. Two years later the name was changed to Misch & Co., when Stock retired. As fine art publishers, the quality of production was absolutely outstanding and well suited to the reproduction of paintings on postcards. Beatrice Cenci (Italian: [bea?trit?e ?t?ent?i]; 6 February 1577 - 11 September 1599) was a young Roman noblewoman who murdered her father, Count Francesco Cenci. The subsequent, lurid murder trial in Rome gave rise to an enduring legend about her. She was condemned and beheaded for the crime in 1599.
