It will be seen by the accompanying view that this now -celebrated winter resort is large, and handsome, and of??”near the harbour??”modern construction, whilst at the back rises the more ancient part of the town. The quays and boulevards here will remind anyone who has ever seen Geneva of that city, and also, in some cases, of Marseilles.
