Lanyon Quoit, Madron, Cornwall, 1967-1970. Lanyon Quoit, a Neolithic dolmen, viewed from the west. Lanyon Quoit is a megalithic tomb now in the guardianship of the National Trust. In 1815 the dolmen collapsed during a storm. It was reconstructed with only three of the four stones that had previously supported the capstone. The fourth was considered too badly damaged to be reused.
