Promotional postcard for The Merveilleuses by Basil Hood, based on a play by Victorien Sardou (Theatre des Varietes, Paris, 16th December 1873); music Hugo Felix. First produced at Daly?s Theatre, 27th October 1906. The musical was set in the period of the Directory in France (late eighteenth century). The title was changed to ?The Lady Dandies?, 31st January 1907.
