Promotional postcard of the Grand Theatre, Islington circa 1904. The theatre is situated in the centre of the postcard and is distinguished by its protruding portico feature, which dominates the fa?ade and frames the main entrance. THE GRAND appears twice in tablature above the columns, and two statues stand on the roof of the portico, one of which is masked by a Union Jack, which hangs from the top of the building. Demolished in 1962 although the fa?ade remained until 1981.
