Le Cercueil de chair (The Coffin of Flesh) at the Theatre Du Grand Guignol, translated this means 'The Theatre of the Great Puppet' and with only 293 seats, the venue was the smallest in Paris. From its opening in 1897 until its closing in 1962, it specialised in naturalistic horror shows. It is billed here as "The Greatest Curiosity of Paris".
