Page of Honour frock coat (detail). Yellow cloth edged with silver lace; with cuffs of black cloth and silver buttons. Worn at the coronation of King George V in 1911 by Master Verney, page to the Lord Herschell, Vice Chamberlain to the Queen. Verney was also Page of Honour to King George V, 1914-17. The buttons on the jacket are decorated with two crests, firstly, an arm in armour embowed and holding a broken tilting spear, and secondly, a wolf passant. The two crests are ensigned by the coronet of a baron
