Suffragette Women's freedom league Caravan. The Women's Freedom League campaign caravan which toured the counties of Kent, Surrey and Sussex in the summer of 1908. Seated at the window is Muriel Matters (1877-1969), observed by a group of small boys. The caravan was pulled by a horse named 'Asquith'. Painted on the outside, 'Women's Freedom league' 'Women's Suffrage' with 'Votes for Women' on rear doors.
