Blinded soldiers from St. Dunstan's home for blinded sailor and soldiers in Regent's Park, rowing in the boat they rowed to victory over the students of Westminster College. They won two races out of three. Previous to coaching for this regatta, none of the men had previously rowed before so their victory was all the more remarkable. A launch filled with other blind soldiers of St. Dunstan's and their friends followed the race with enthusiastic cheering.
