Lady Teignmouth's Budgerow, Sunderbans, Bengal, by Hubert Cornish (1757-1832). The houseboat contained a drawing room, a bedroom and a vestibule; it is flying the East India Company flag. Cornish was brother-in-law and Secretary to the Governor-General of India, the first Lord Teignmouth. (1 of 6)
