The Green Mosque (Yesil Camii) is one of the most important pieces of early Ottoman architecture, which carried many elements from the Selcuk architecture. This photo is a detail from the wooden door of the mosque.The Yesil Mosque can be shown as the perfect blend between architecture and embellishment. It was commissioned by Sultan Mehmed I Celebi and completed between 1419?1424 by architect vezir Haci Ivaz Pasha. The architectural style known as Bursa Style begins with Yesil Camii.
