'U. S. O.' Club operated by the Salvation Army - the United Services Organization Inc., a private, non-profit organization that provides morale and recreational services to members of the U.S. military. Began a tradition of entertaining the troops during World War Two as pictured on this postcard. The Salvation Army were one of the six civilian organizations brought together under one umbrella to support U.S. troops.
