The Hall of Science at the Century of Progress International Exposition (Chicago World's Fair) 1933. It was held to celebrate the city's centennial. The theme of the fair was technological innovation. "The Hall of Science, 700 by 400 feet, two stories and a mezzanine in height, rising from coloured, concrete terraces. At night it will be brilliantly illuminated by indirect and fluctuating coloured flood lights. Located at Sixteenth street and the Lake, with part of the building extending directly across Leif Eriksen Drive - Chicago's famous waterfront boulevard."
