Bond Street hung with white banners which are floodlit to celebrate the Coronation of King George VI in May 1937. The white banners, 30 feet by 6 feet, fell to within 12 feet of the pavement and had a coloured Plantaganet crown at its foot. The street design was by Anne Acland.
