A crease-resisting nylon tulle evening dress from Marshall and Snelgrove, one of a quartette of outfits showcased by the Tatler as being perfect for the Coronation summer of 1953. Its ruched bodice is finished with a broad band of gold embroidery decorated with crystal jewels to match the colour of the frock.
