The top left sketch shows the dress made by couturiers, Reville of Hanover Square, worn by Queen Mary to the wedding, in pastel blue and Australian gold brocade woven in a classic floral design. The photograph shows the finishing touches being made to an evening gown for Princess Marina at Captain Molyneux's dressmaking establishment in Grosvenor Street. Molyneux, who also designed the royal wedding dress, was one of the Duchess's favourite designers, his elegant, classic styles suiting her slim frame well.
