Quintin McGarel Hogg, Baron Hailsham of St Marylebone, formerly 2nd Viscount Hailsham (1907-2001), British Conservative politician. During his long career he held many posts, including First Lord of the Admiralty, Minister of Education, Chairman of the Conservative Party, Leader of the House of Lords, and Lord Chancellor (1979-1987).
