Scotland, Glenfarg (near Perth) - The single-storey 'Bein Inn', detailing it was 'worked on the Gothenburg System'. The Gothenburg or Trust Public House movement originated as an attempt to control the consumption of alcohol in the Swedish city of Gothenburg in the early 19th century. The Gothenburg system quickly spread and in Scotland, was adopted mainly in the mining communities of Fife and the Lothians.
