William Oxman or Orsingham, preacher of an extreme religious sect who opposed Oliver Cromwell and his men. Preacher of the doctrines of the Fifth Monarchy Men, Seducer of Libertines, Captain of the seditious Anabaptists and Quaker. He was hanged and beheaded on 19 January 1661, after the restoration of the monarchy. He is holding a book which says, in Latin, 'A book in the hand and a devil in the heart'.
