Double - musth Asian / Indian Elephant breaking the termite mound (Elephas maximus). Corbett National Park, India. Musth is when the temporal glands between the eye and ear swells up and an oily liquid ozes out of the opening. It indicates breeding readiness, and is when male Elephants are at their most aggressive & dangerous.
