Ceremony of the transfer of the Chinese Changchun Railway to China was held in Harbin on December 31, 1952. Minister Teng Tai-yuan, on behalf of the Ministry of Railways of the Central People's Government and the All-China Federation of Railway Workers, presenting to the Changchun Railway Administration a banner of honor which will be kept forever in the Commemoration Hall for the joint Sino-Soviet Administration of the Chinese Changchun Railway. The banner is being presented to N.A. Grunichev, former director of the joint administration.
