'Langham Hotel', (c1878). The Langham Hotel in Marylebone, London, was designed by John Giles and built between 1863 and 1865. Famous guests include Mark Twain, Napoleon III, Oscar Wilde, Anton?n Dvor?k and Arturo Toscanini. It was one of the first buildings to be installed with electric lighting, (1879).
