Gibbet Windmill, Rye, East Sussex, 1934. Standing on the original brick base, this white smock mill is a reconstruction of the former working mill which burnt down in the early 1930s. The original mill was built in 1824. Photographed by Herbert Edward Sidney Simmons in June 1934.
