In this long-exposure image, stars trail over the Atacama Pathfinder Experiment (APEX), a radio telescope located at 5,100 meters above sea level, at the Chajnantor Observatory in the Atacama desert, in northern Chile, near to the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA). The dish has a diameter of 12 meters.
