A 3D molecular model of nilutamide, a non-steroidal antiandrogen used in hormone based chemotherapy to treat metastatic prostate cancer. Nilutamide prevents testosterone and other androgens from activating androgen receptors and repressing the growth of cancerous cells. Nilutamide has also been used as a component of hormone replacement therapy in transgender women to induce clinical feminization.
