Iron (III) hydroxide precipitate formed by adding few drops of a 1M solution of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) to 0.2 M solutions of ferric chloride (FeCl3). The reaction is FeCl3 + NaOH -> Fe(OH)3 + NaCl. This is examples of a double replacement reaction.
