Sealed thallium. Thallium is highly toxic. Historically it has been used in rat poisons and insecticides, but its use has been cut back or eliminated in many countries because of its nonselective toxicity. It has also gained a reputation, along with arsenic, for its use in murder cases. Less deadly applications include electronics and glass manufacturing.
