Ulexite. Ulexite (hydrated sodium calcium borate hydroxide), also known as TV Rock or TV Stone), is a mineral that has a structure of closely-packed parallel crystal fibers. The fibers transmit light along their lengths by internal reflection. Ulexite is an example of fiber optic properties occurring in nature.
