This coronal (frontal) T1 weighted MRI image of the thoracic spine shows a beautiful example of a thoracic scoliosis, with the convexity to the right. This is also referred to as a thoracic dextroscoliosis. A small portion of the upper thoracic spinal cord is visualized towards the top of the image.
