Upland sclerophyll woodland, northern Australia. At around 1000 metres altitude, the drier sclerophyll forest is characterised by rocky granite outcrops, various species of eucalypts, (gum trees), forming a canopy cover of less than 70%, and an understorey of grasses and grass trees.
