The Blackberry Lily (Belamcanda chinensis) is a member of the Iris family and is native to China and Japan. It can be found in the US in fields, rocky woodlands, and along roadsides. The clusters of seeds produced by this plant resemble blackberries in appearance. This one was photographed at the New Canaan Nature Center in Connecticut.
