Radjah shelducks (Tadorna radjah) feeding in a vestigial floodplain billabong of the Smithburne River in the dusty dry season morning light, Delta Downs aboriginal land and cattle station, southeast Gulf of Carpentaria, Queensland, Australia. As the Wet approaches, the ducks will nest and raise their young on the aquatic bounty of the vast floodplain wetland.
