Prairie pothole in the Nature Conservancy's Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, Oklahoma. Glaciers once covered the great prairies of North America and left behind large, slow-melting chunks of ice, creating potholes. Toads, frogs, rushes and sedges are attracted to these areas.
