Salmonella agona (Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Agona) is an uncommon form of salmonella found in chickens, turkeys, cattle and pigs. Like other salmonella infections, S. agona usually causes a weeklong illness. Symptoms include vomiting, fever, diarrhea, and abdominal cramps.
